Senior WordPress Developer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop WordPress websites as assigned, both on the front-end and back-end.
• Write high-quality front-end programs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and SCSS/SASS.
• Have an extensive knowledge of responsive design and the ability to convert designs into web pages.
• Understand UX/UI and collaborate effectively with designers using Figma/Adobe XD.
• Plan the program’s structure, create a database, and test the application until it can function by using PHP, MySQL, and MariaDB programming.
• Have an understanding of WordPress themes and the ability to design, edit, and develop them yourself.
• Have an understanding of WordPress plugins and the ability to create, edit, and develop them yourself.
• Have an understanding of WordPress’s infrastructure and the ability to install new WordPress yourself.
• Have an understanding of the technical SEO concepts very well.
• Have an understanding of Page Optimization, which involves updating the image and content of a website to make it more search engine friendly in order to improve rankings in Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs).
• Have an understanding of Off Page Optimization in any procedures that occur outside of the website. This will improve our website’s search engine ranking.
• Have an understanding of how to create Sitemaps (website maps) and Schema Markup so that search engines can better interpret what the material on that page is about and what type it is. This includes making the website load quickly and responsive, supporting all devices, and creating mobile friendly, allowing users on phones to easily access the site.

Requirements

• Graduated from Computer Science, Information Technology, or other software development-related program.
• Have at least 1-3 years of experience developing websites using WordPress. 
• Able to understand the terms and objectives of the company-assigned project.
• Have creative ideas and an in-depth knowledge of visual communication, including the ability to create new design concepts.
• Have excellent communication skills, the ability to coordinate effectively, good human relations, and being able to work as a team.
• Be responsible and punctual with the given works.
• Skilled in working with different teams within the company to create websites.
• Able to collaborate with others and have basic skills in social interaction.
• Take care of other related responsibilities as given.
